Hello yahoo.gif

I am very new in this forum and in Search Engine Optimization as well. i visited this forum many time before and learn many things and helping me a lot. i like to pay thanks to every1 who is participating here to guide those fellows who want to learn by experts. Thanks

Today I want to learn one thing more. The thing is about Reciprocal Linkage with .gov & .edu sites.
First Thing ... does .gov & .edu sites allow us to exchange a commercial website link with their website?

Secondly: Why different sites are not showing LINK Popularity Check for MSN?

Third: Why Yahoo, MSN & Google results are not same?

I am sorry cry_smile.gif if my questions are very simple.

Best Regards,
Shobi

I don't think they will just exchange a link with any old commercial website, but if you can get a one way link from a .edu or .gov site then that is an incredibly powerful link to have.

Secondly: Why different sites are not showing LINK Popularity Check for MSN?

Last time I looked, MSN's link check was broken.

Third: Why Yahoo, MSN & Google results are not same?

Yahoo!, MSN and Google all use different ranking algorithm's

Don't stare yourself blind on .gov and .edu sites. They are exactly the same as any other websites on .com, .org, etc domains. Look for quality links and forget about the TLD the site is on.

Hello...

few experts say that we should not exchange our website link with Irrelevant websites because search engines does not like suck kind of steps and it goes in negative way. is it true?

Shobi, you should not exchange links with irrelevant sites not because of search engines but because you'll confuse the visitors that come to your site.
