Is Forwarding Parked Domains Wrong?

When I purchased the domain name for my site, I also purchased two other domain names that use the same words minus the hyphens. I left these other two domains parked, but had GoDaddy forward them to the live site. My page rank bar is grey and Google doesn’t recognize any of my back links (even Yahoo, Gimpsy, GoGuides, and JoeAnt). Is forwarding parked domains a NO-NO and is Google penalizing me for it?

No, it's not wrong and you won't be penalized for it. Hundreds of thousands of sites are parked and/or forwarded. It's not a problem.
