I am in a bit of a bind. I need a good shopping cart that has the option for user customization, ideally in the manner of multi or single image upload available to the customer in question. I feel that the promotional product industry is big enough that something of this nature may exist (however poorly marketed).
Additionally, I need it to integrate well with quickbooks. I know this is a tall order, if there is nothing that fits the exact call of duty I would be most willing to look at options that are groomed for customization, and hopefully I could build the image upload integration into the existing cart template. Let me know what my options are, even if I don't have any. Thanks

Welcome camaroman !
I don't have a specific recommendation for you, but I would suspect there are probably several carts that have file uploading ability built right into them. If not, most of the better ones have a modification community that could add such a facility. Assuming the server supports file uploads of course. It wouldn't be that hard to add into the mix if you have a scripting background.
Given the difficulty of the two things you need, I'd start out trying to find something that provides the Quickbooks integration you need. That should be pretty simple since Intuit maintains a marketplace where certified developers can advertise their Quickbooks enabled applications. So then it's just a matter of choosing one, hopefully one that can also provide the file uploads functionality. Either out of the box or as an addon feature.
