How Can I Detect Link Farms?

Hi all,

I have this question:

How i can detect if a directory is a link farm?

If all the sites within the directory are required to link to each other on their own sites, then it's a link farm.

It's kind of like what the rule on obscenity - it's hard to strictly define, but you know it when you see it.

If it looks like a link farm, smells like a link farm, it probably is a link farm.

If you don't forsee any traffic coming from the link, don't even bother and spend your time elsewhere building real traffic, not just a pile of crappy links that aren't worth the electronic ink they are printed on.

link farm website generally work as a mediator site... which sends you link for link exchange but you can identify easily if you get links which come from those site, have different themes and irrelevant. This site provides you links in bulk for link exchange... but to use these links on your site is not good.. there are not stable and irrelevant..... Don't try to take links from these sites.....

Instant link approval sites are link farms.

Wrong, just as wrong as when someone said the same thing above.
