Hello,

Please review www.buygibsons.com crossfingers.gif

General
Is this site completed or under construction?

Its completed.

If completed:
How long has the site been up?

2 weeks

SEO
Do you have incoming links?

Related forum links and a few related guitar sites.

What keywords are you targeting?

"Used Gibson Guitars", "Used Les Paul".

Do you want your code reviewed for errors or improvements?
Yes please.

Marketing
Who is your target audience? Think about:

Gender: mainly men.
Nationality: only us based since I only get commision for us traffic.
Age Range: 18-60+

Why is your site different from sites selling/offering similar info/goods/services? Why will someone want to do business you?
Site is updated every minute. Hopefully it doesnt look so "spammish" as my minor competitors.

How important is usability?
I want users sent to ebay in fewest possible clicks - although the clicks should still be related.

What is the purpose of the site? (inform, sell, online community, support B&M business, contact info only, etc)
10% inform - 90% sell.

Design
Do you want design suggestions?

Yes please.

I have seen about 30 sales in the first weeks, but looking to expand. Is there anyway I could optimize the relationship with www.bestgibsons.com(another site of mine)?

Your advices are much appreciated!

Thanks,
Jonas

Initial layout looks fine to me and I seemed to navigate quite easily around the site. Though it became obvious pretty quickly it was simply a front end to ebay.

As for valid code, I would hazard a guess you haven't run it through the W3C validator
QUOTE
as there are 84 errors on the homepage alone.

Though if you are dynamically embedding code supplied by the ebay affiliate engine, you may not be able to get the page fully validated if the code they generate is not valid!

I would also look at reviewing your title tags , you say your targeted keyphrases are "Used Gibson Guitars", "Used Les Paul" yet don't mention Les Paul in the title tag?

i love the navigation on the left. the right column is also quite cool and unique. the middle needs some work though - the strong orange on dull grey hover effect doesn't seem to work.

the flow of the site is very user friendly, quick, and easy.

the only thing that i was not too fond of is the background and seems to be lacking a header
