Hello All,
Hope your holiday season was full of keywords and link juice, and that Search Engine Santa brought you plenty of visitors this year (as long as you were a good SEO boy/girl, of course!).

I was thinking today, which is always a dangerous activity, and a question popped in my head: If Google no longer likes paid links, does it apply to the Yahoo! Directory? Could you just simply use a nofollow attribute for the directory? searchme.gif

Thank you guys in advance for your help with this one!

The official word is that paying for a directory editor to check out your site is not the same as simply paying for a link. We'll see how reliable that claim is when it comes to paid directories other than Yahoo. They'll obviously have to make judgments about each one, looking at whether they'll take the money and list anything, or if they actually turn some sites down.
