Huis Clos (No Exit in English)

serves-me-right.com biggrin.gif sounds like a great idea.

With a by-line of: "Tell us how you censored.gif up"

You seem to have forgotten Rule #5--"Badmouthing other forums, sites, companies in general, is not allowed.".......

I'm sorry but this whole post seems like a response from someone who works for RoR. I'm sure that you have never had to dealt with a fraudulent / false Ripoff report, how frustrating the whole thing is, how quickly they rank in google and how difficult/impossible they are to push off of the first page.

This site is mostly comprised of disgruntled customers who did not get what they wanted and most reader are aware of this. So don't give this site too much merit.

So if you're a good company, someone can bad mouth you inappropriately and if you don't have the money to pay to clear your name, too bad. But if you're a terrible company, and you rightly have screwed people or given bad service, you can pay to clear your name? Doesn't this just keep the PR power in the hands of those with the deepest pockets - EXCEPT now there's a middle man who exploits it and makes his own profit.

Wow, couldn't have put it better myself. I think the best thing to do is just put a well thought out rebuttal. As you mentioned, people are idiots and don't read the fine print. A good rebuttal proving that you are indeed correct is great free advertising wink1.gif

I actually don't think people are idiots, I think they tend to be upset when they find out things in the fine print that they never knew about. Like when the cell phone company rounds up every fraction of a minute to a full minute. And as I said before, I'm not a fan of fine print. Not reading the fine print doesn't make anyone an idiot - and funny enough - this whole post is about attributing false or unwarranted allegations to people because we don't like their actions. The ironies abound. smile.gif
