I could delete my existing photos, but when I tried to upload new ones, both tries failed. Anyone else having this problem?
If not, likley our firewall rewriting HTTP requests and messing it up. Also messes up going to HP.

Qwerty reported an uploading issue right after the migration and forum revamp Tom. It may have to do with that as I'm not sure if anyone has had a chance to dig into the issue yet.

Scottie's out of town for the rest of this week I think. I can try to look into it, but she's more expert on that stuff than I am.

I just ran some of the diagnostic and forum fixing tools, and it said it fixed some errors.

Let me know if this fixed the photo problem.

Nope, sorry; it's still broken. I can't upload a new personal photo, nor can I upload a new avatar photo. Error message for both.

What's the exact error message please? There were two tables that wouldn't seem to "fix" automatically.

As a part of my new years resolution, I tried to upload a new one, it's looks like th eold 'image is too big' problem I used to have, so didn't realise there was an error. I can leave that resizing thing alone now I guess.

When attempting to upload an avatar photo from my computer, I browsed to the file on my hard drive, clicked "Update Avatar" and got:
QUOTE
The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem

Should be fixed- there was a different "home" path on our new server than on our old one. All corrected now... let's see those photos!

Wish I'd known that, it would have been an easy one to fix across the board with a little symlink.

Are there any other sites that might need it Jill? I can tell ya how to set it up or set up a single symlink for you that'll cure all those problems for all domains if you want.

None of mine as far as I know. Scottie has more dynamic type sites than I do, so she might need it.

Consider it done, just in case.

It's still a good idea to correct those, but in the meantime the symlink should handle things.
