Hi all,

I use sawmill for the log file analysis. Can I get some webbased easy to use tracking system.
I want to know more about my visitors. What are the techniques? If there is already thread which I can use , please let me know.

Thanks
Aji

There are several web-based options available, most of them are discussed in other threads of this section. So you may want to dedicate some time perusing this area.

Choosing which is best for you depends largely upon what exactly you want to track (Visits, Click Paths, Sales, etc) and the budget you have to work with.

Personally, I use a combination of Webalizer (good general stats, and Open Source), Urchin (better at Click Paths and more detailed information if you activate UTM) and some smallish sales tracking apps we've developed for internal use that give me a lot more of the exact information I want to track on the sales/conversion side of things.

There are lots of other options out there to choose from. Hopefully folks who use others will chime in. But if they don't, all of the best ones are mentioned in other threads.

If you are dealing with a smaller business and only say 1-3 domains and a few hundred different keywords then go with www.KeywordMax.com you would be spending under $50 a month for a hosted solution that is easy to use and profit from.

There are a few others out there and there are better ones for the Enterprise level that integrate SalesForce and LivePerson etc.

Short term try the free trial at any of them and get a feel for how they work... once you see you will know so much more and make your decisions accordingly.
