Vini, basically anything that helps get the word out on your web site and products is a good thing (not necessarily the best). I only listed a handful of free ideas that can't hurt. There are tons more out there, but remember you get what you pay for.

The title of my page does include lots the most searched terms about my topic.
And It's very large, Do you think I should make a short one including only the main topic?
Like if I run a website about designs and I want to get ranking when people searches Graphic Designs, And my title is Graphic Designs - Designs + Photoshop + Paid Designs + Templates, etc. You think I should put only Graphic Designs?

If your title includes most of the most-searched terms, that probably means they are the most competitive terms. Do an 'allintitle' in Google, and you get over 23,000 results with 'graphic designs' in their titles. That's a lot, in my opinion, of pages that are actively competing for that exact term.

How about optimizing some pages for long-tail keywords. Like...what kind of graphic designs are they? I would be more descriptive and target my market a little more tightly. Are they urban designs, computer generated, contemporary, retro....there are so many variations of design.

But the real question on my mind: why are you so desperate? You aren't depending 100% on organic SEO to bring your site traffic, are you? Cuz that's a very bad idea for a number of reasons -- one of which you're experiencing right now, which is that you can't control the search engines' rankings... so by depending on SEO alone you're basing your business on the whims of Google, Yahoo, MSN et.al.

This is one of the best responses I have seen in an SEO related forum......actually identifies the trap a lot of new web site owners fall into - believing that SEO is some magic traffic generating holy grail - it is only one of many useful ways to attract visitors to your site [traffic]....

There are many ways to generate free quality web traffic - one of which is finding communities visited by people in your niche market, and providing them with answers to the questions being asked.....

Also the original poster needs to start by learning about the three core principles of creating profits online - traffic generation, list building, and sales copy writing......everything falls into one of those principles.......there are no new secrets available even today in the modern age of 2007...........

Thanks, Leo. smile.gif

You'll find that's pretty much a standard answer around these parts, especially from the folks who have been here awhile. The forum may be called High Rankings, but we know rankings aren't the end-all and be-all for a successful business. (And as a rational person, I'll take a low ranking but profitable website over a high ranking piece of crap that never makes a sale. Any day. wink1.gif )

BTW, welcome aboard! I look forward to hearing more from you around these parts. hi.gif

It's doubtful that submitting the site to google, msn and yahoo would be helpful for anything, nor would most of the other stuff you mentioned. Perhaps your brother just got lucky.

Use the h1 tag once

Recently I discovered that the h1 tag is one of the most important things you can have on your website. It shows SE what its all about

ex

Title: SEO business | New York
Description: Fast and reliable SEO business in New York.
Keywords, seo, business ++++

>h1>SEO business in New York<h1>

umm... No. The <title> tags is important and shows the SE's that, but not <Hx> tags so much.

I'd be awfully surprised if that were true.
