Hi,
I have been self optimising my site army surplus for two years now and have number one rankings (most likely geographicly) for the search term army surplus.
However, deep rooted internal pages used to be easy to get listed as I would just put a noscript tag on the home page and put direct links to them. I can't direct link to every page from the homepage as theres too many.
Now it seems Google doesn;t like this method anymore and despite what I try I can't get these internal pages into G's index.
Am I doing something wrong?
I've been told a G sitemap may help and have tried that but still no go.
Im not sure Ive got the right software to create my G sitemap as it just seems to list the pages alphabetically not in a structural way, is this right?
Does anyone have a good asp version of a sitemap generator to create a sitemap to xml?
Sorry for so many question in one post!

Yes. Since those pages are not actually linked to from the home page, you're essentially using hidden links when you put them in the noscript tag that way.
You may want to look at revising your site navigation in general so that you can make sure your internal pages are linked to more appropriately.

Hi Jill,
Thanks for your reply.
I've also noticed that a link from the homepage also isn't being listed at the foot of the page.
Can you expand on "You may want to look at revising your site navigation in general so that you can make sure your internal pages are linked to more appropriately."
I'm not sure I know what that means?
Thanks.

Simple.
Link to the pages in a way that is visible to normal visitors, and make sure you're providing nice, clean links.
