Hi,

Its been a while since I have been on the forum, and I read a fairly recent string on Press Release/Article sites.

My question only applies to press release distribution sites. Is there a limit on how many distribution sites you should use? Does it impact your rankings in Google News/Yahoo News? If so, maybe my approach should change.

Our press releases are optimized. They promote various types of focused content that we provide on our site. The content is also optimized. HTML versions are left out for the crawlers, pdf versions are excluded via robot txt. The way we have been doing it is we have one site we pay for distribution on, we use prweb at the $80 level (which is the lowest level because their prices have gone up and since I used the free sites as well I thought did not need to pay for their cadillac version) , then use a list of free press release distribution sites which I have an intern submit to. [probably about 7 or 8 now--a few have gone away--some new ones have popped up]

I do have specialty sites and portals I submit to depending upon the channel of content already, so I do have a focused approached. I also have the luxury of having two interns, so since I already have quality and am able to have quantity because I have the labor to do it, so I figured, why not have both. [having your cake and eating it too smile.gif]

Also, on the off chance, has anyone tested pr.com vs. prweb vs prleap?

Thanks in advance. Best Regards,

DJKay
