Very good lay-out and attractive colors especially ,add some more images related to your field, That would be something quick you can do to improve it.

i think your site does look like a professional site. the colors are fine but the font may be a little too small. i would consider changing the layout since your site is mostly text. maybe use pagination to break apart your content since you have alot of content on one page
