Seems to be simply an outlet for SEO bloggers to promote SEO bloggers, linkbait titles to posts with little if any substance that then get "sphinned" up.
"SEO friendly" social media?
No thanks....

I dunno, glengara. I've been pleasantly surprised with Sphinn so far. And most of the posts that go Hot do seem to be generally pretty good. They've certainly got their work cut out for them as the membership increases, and it will be interesting to see how it goes.
If anyone's interested, I wrote up my first few weeks as a Sphinn user a little while back.

I think Sphinn's doing a great job as a niche site for us SEO/Internet marketing types. Of course, the "linkerati" of the industry are going to have an easier time getting stories Sphunn and voted up. Just makes the up-and-comers work harder on cranking out good content and building relationships in the community. Personally I dont have the patience to wait for SEO stories to make it on Digg. Digg's a bit too geeky even for me, ha ha.
