After submitting to the search engines...haha I just like to do it, a habit I should be breaking I suppose, maybe I'm just paranoid and can't believe they will find me if I don't give them a clue:-) What then? How do you get your new site known?
I would like to start a discussion going on the next best way to get your site and product known on the Internet.
In order of importance do you agree that:
One should research a topic first such as ezine marketing, email marketing or
PPC marketing, and when you think you have mastered the ins and outs, go with the topic you feel most comfortable with and that you estimate will bring you the best results?
Is there an order of importance to any of the above?
What is the premier way to market on the Internet? Again, excluding search engines.
Be advised that this discussion has a purpose. I want to write a book about "launching a new web site" and what marketers should be looking to do first to get their web sites off the ground and running, so that they can start making money in record time.
So depending on what you all have to tell me here I will know wether this is a viable project or not. Needless to say any comments made to me in this forum would not be published in such a book without prior permission and appropriate accreditation given.
