I'm curious about the benefits of being listed in SEOPROS.ORG. Obviously it gives your business some accreditation. But does it help with clients?

They don't seem to be taking applications and I can't find any site that was reviewed after 2005 so I don't know. However, another similar entity that loves to rank SEO firms sent me a whole bunch of RFQs for one month before ending the free preview. Recently, it sent me a tantaliser mentioning that a potential lead had visited my profile - one each to two accounts I had there. I don't need any new clients for the foreseeable future, so I have not joined anything.
It might be worth asking a SEMPO member to see if they got any leads that converted. I think this is the most credible body at present.
If you have a well-ranking website, you should get a few direct enquiries every month and they are the best, since the visitors have already seen your offerings.

A number of sites were reviewed in 05 and 06, and a few were done early this year (I'm one of the people who reviewed them), but I believe Ash is correct that SeoPros isn't currently accepting new applications.

I have since joined SEMPO at the individual level and I get at least one RFQ each week.
