Hi,
even when i search for my site's full url in Google, it's finding nothing (let alone searching by keywords)! It has been about three months since i submitted the url to Google, at which time I submitted it to Yahoo and MSN. Yahoo and MSN started listing the site almost immediately. I have validated and uploaded a sitemap to Google in the last few weeks. Still nothing. T Any help you might be able to give me with regards to this problem would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

It can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months to get listed in Google, this is normal and is called the aging delay. Yahoo and MSN don't have an aging delay so it's easier for new sites to get listed.

just to clarify, does this aging delay apply to both listing and ranking? even though googlebot is visiting my pages, the site doesn't show up on google even when i search for the full URL.

1. Search Google like site:yourdomain.com This will tell you if any of your pages have been indexed. If you see pages being indexed look for "Supplemental" in green down by where it lists the URL address.
2. If no pages are indexed and/or if all of the pages are Supplemental it means you simply don't have enough other sites linking to your site. Google will not consider your site important enough to include in their main index if other people don't first think it is important.

The aging delay only applies to ranking, not indexing (listing).
