All right for what?

You can add whatever METAs you like, assuming Blogger permits it. (I don't use Blogger, so I don't know if that functionality is available there.) You'd have to check with Blogger to see if it's allowed, and if so how you would go about doing it.

If they won't, it's no big deal. METAs don't have much of an effect on much of anything these days anyway. smile.gif

And welcome to HR! hi.gif

Blogger doesn't give you access to the <head> of your posts unless you want to edit your template. The thing is, if you want a different meta description for each post, I'm not sure how you'd go about doing that, because you'd need variables for it to plug in to each post. There are ways to control a given page's title by messing with the code -- I've done this one. For the meta description, there's a suggestion here, but really all it will do is put a post's title into its meta description.

No, I'd say meta descriptions matter. It's just that blogger doesn't give you a decent method to create them.

And welcome, Joan hi.gif

Welcome Joan -

Think about using Wordpress for your blogs - much easier and has more obvious SEO functionalities in the form of addons smile.gif
