Here's a crazy idea:

Offer to send a sample in the mail. You know, one of those cards you spray the perfume onto so you can smell it. If you offer to mail one to a customer, it adds to your legitimacy and may help you make conversions. Its a service your competitors won't be offering and lets face it, everyone wants to smell it before they buy it.

Mailing it would cost 50 cents. A sale makes you many many more times that.

Actually this is something that I have considered doing. I think I'll start this up as apparently it is a good idea. :-) Holding number 11 under Discount Fragrances and number 110 under fragrances. I know I can get higher under fragrances with some more time. sarcastic_blum.gif

Jessica, stupid question time... I assume that your site is static because there are no & or ? in the URL. How do you manage all of the products on your site? I work with a static site that has around 1000 products and it is a lot of work to keep it up. Sorry I am no help with your SEO needs. Thanks

Many dynamic sites don't have parameters in their URLs.

Ok. What else can you look for to tell if a site is dynamic or not? Thanks

Why does it matter if it is dynamic or not?

I guess it is not all that important. I currently work on a completely static website and I am trying to learn as much as I can about the differences between the two because we are working to develop a shopping cart.

hey jessica, the first thing i noticed was that there is a lot of purple. i don't think this is a bad thing, but maybe you could incorporate at least one other color that compliments the purple. good luck to you, hope your site does well. cool.gif
