First of all, I'd like to say it's nice to be back in here. (I've been off the radar for quite sometime with a whole lot of drama and job hunting.)

Anyhoo, I'm hoping to attend SES San Jose and WebmasterWorld Las Vegas this year so I'm putting together some costs for my new employer. But I can't find any cost info for Pubcon. Anyone know how much it usually costs?

Thanks.

I don't see that they've posted any pricing yet Al, but historically the Pubcon conference prices have been considerably less expensive than SES. You can also usually get a really good deal on hotels in Vegas, so the combined difference can be quite substantial.

Since you're working up a budget you may want to get in touch with Brett or one of the other folks listed at the Pubcon site to see if they can give you a ballpark price range to plug in. It's far enough away that they may not have exact pricing yet, but at least they should be able to give you an idea.

I would love to go. I was just under the impression that the HR seminars were more for newbies I guess. Is that not the case?

smile.gif It would be great to finally meet some forum members too and I've always wanted to go to CO. In case I can't get this one approved though, when is the next event? Or is that still up in the air?

One other question too... Is Danny Sullivan still hosting SES San Jose? It says he is on the SES site but I thought he had his own thing going now? SMX, right?

London in Sept.

After that, still up in the air.

My understanding --and it may be wrong since I've not asked him directly-- is that Danny is still the Host of the SES, but he's not involved in the Programming it anymore. Meaning he doesn't have the final responsibility of what sessions are in and which are out, etc. So he's the host, but it's not his baby the way it had been for all of those years.
