Shared Ip Hosting Vs. Different C Class Ip's

I have couple of websites and I want to launch them on the net.
I have to pay a hosting service so I have to ask if there is any real benefit in terms of traffic, placement in SE's, crawling, indexing the websites etc. if I host them on different C class IP's and not on shared ones. In average a different C class IP will cost me about 3 times more than a shared one.
Based on your experience is it worth pay more for this kind of hosting? Is it such a big difference between these 2 types of IP's?
Thanks.

If you're not a spammer, then no worries.

I have also a budget so that's why I was asking if it worths paying for different C class IP's.
Now, if I place every website with different webhosting companies but on a shared IP package would this help?
Thanks.

No. There is no need if you're running normal web sites that are on the up and up.
This is what Jill was saying above. The only time you need difference Class C's is if you're actively trying to hide something from the search engines. As long as you're proud of your sites and not up to anything funny there is absolutely no need for different Class C's.
So for the vast majority of web sites out there, there is no need for separate Class C's.
