I have a client who is patiently waiting out his days in the "sandbox" with a .net domain name - the site has been up for about 2 months.
However, they recently aquired the .com address.
If they republish the site to the .com address and redirect the .net address will they be restarting their wait time to getting ranked?
Thank you!
Joanne

The short answer?
Yes.
Though for 2 months it might be a difficult decision to avoid given the branding ability of having things on a .com.

Hi Joanne, I'm sorry to say that I think you're right - new domain = sandbox.
