Forgive me if I am asking a very simple or foolish questions over here.

How to distribute my press release in different online sites? Can I submit same press release for different PR sites?

Sure you can distribute your press release(s) through the available sites that do that sort of thing. That's how most get started in fact.

You'll want to keep an eye on who picks them up though. Because down the road you may be able to offer those folks first dibs or use them only if you start getting enough republishes.

PR leap works out very well if you dont want to spend.
Otherwise try prweb - the $80 distribution is pretty good value for money.

PRNewswire is probably not worth $700 unless you really have some great news.

Nice list Jesse.

I would use the same login for all the PRsites with same password.
Makes it easy to post.

I knew I could count on you guys.

Hey, all! Long time no see!! I have a hell of a weird story to tell y'all over in the Pub when I got some more time to spare, but long story short, I'm working in PR now.
I'm the "PR assistant" at a small company. There's nobody above me, though; it's just me.
There is a Marketing Director.
He's one of these Visionary Types who has Big Ideas, dispenses Pearls of Wisdom, and then is gone doing Something Else Important. So I am kind of scrambling to pick up these pearls of wisdom and DO something with them.

He keeps mentioning how we have to submit press releases to online sites to get ourselves "accredited" in the search engines, and I just have not been able to figure out what he's talking about.
(Long story tidbit: I have not done any SEO work since I was last active on this site-- was it 2003? 2004?-- so, things have undoubtedly changed since then, and I'm a bit lost!)

I finally realized I should come on here and see if y'all had any answers for me, and here you are. I'm going to look into the links mentioned above and see if I can't get some better idea of what the heck My Brave Leader has been talking about. Press releases, I can write-- but what to do with them, I'm not so sure.

Thanks for still being here, High Rankings. You knew I'd be back.

Love,
The one and only,
DL7
