Does anyone know how to prevent google from indexing my index .swf ? When you type the name of my website in google, the .swf file is one of the first results and to be honest it looks very nasty, (both in the search results and once you open it). I want to stop google from indexing my .swf file. Anyone knows how ? Thanks in advanced !!!

You could exclude it via your robots.txt file Daniel.

There's more info on using this in the Technology and Coding section of the forum, where I'll be moving this thread to in just a moment.

Use Javascript to insert the Flash instead of OBJECT. Make sure to provide alternative content in plain HTML. This will improve the quality, and possibly the ranking, of your search results.

Google is working on technology to spider Flash files, so you might not want to exclude them with robots.txt.
