when should you submit your site to Google site map? Before or after doing web site optimization ?
To elaborate further. I am in the process of finalizing the keywords on which i will be optimising my site.
I have seen that all pages of my site are not crawled by Google.
should i submit my site map to Google before i optimise ?
Please advise

I doubt it'll make a difference one way or another. They won't just spider your site once, so would pick up on any changes you make.
That said, if you're trying to keep the engines away until you've got your copy written you won't want to submit a sitemap until it's done. They've been known to start sending out spiders pretty quickly.

Hi Randy
Thanks for the info. I have created an sitemap.xml file. from one of the on line tools. It only gives the info about two pages on my website. How do i modify the xml to include all the pages in the xml file.

It sounds like the tool had some difficulty crawling the site. Hard to give a specific answer without more details.
Basically you'll either need to give it a path that will get the tool to your real pages, then make sure you have a nice, clean navigational structure; Or you'll have to build the sitemap file by hand.
