A "client to be" would like me to review their existing Standing Offer with Google for PPC before their renewal date in March.

I was a bit taken aback as this was the first time I heard about this. I assumed Google was managing their PPC campaign but apparently not!

The client self manages $150K annually on AdWords.

Anyone heard of this? Want to know what I am getting into before I quote :-)

Hi Darlene,

That's a good one tongue.gif I hadn't heard the term before, but wouldn't be surprised if this describes Google having dedicated account reps for some of the larger clients...

Hey Chris!

I can actually "hear" you as you are writing LOL!

I just heard from the client and it does represent the media buy. The put it on MERX (a tendering system for you non Canucks) just to inform the competition of their intention. It runs for 2 weeks and the competition can "appeal" and suggest that the client should do PPC with them.

Fat chance LOL.

Hey Darlene,

And here I thought my typing was pretty quiet...

Good luck with the job! (and no, we're not looking at Merx anytime soon) smile.gif

Chris
