Hi

Someone suggested that I try and post here regarding a current SEO problem I have with my website. www.yourittech.com.au
I have posted on Whirlpool in Australia, but have not had much success...
So here goes..

I've had my website online for a few months now.

Does anyone know what's the best software to use to optimise my site so that I can achieve high rankings on Google? I've seen IBP Ver 9.2 and it seems to provide some useful advice...

I think the search term i'd like to be found on is; computer repairs, or possibly computer repairs adelaide.

The story is, about 5 months ago I had a webdesigner create a site for me - it was supposed to be SEO'd for the Google search 'computer repairs' & 'computer repairs adelaide'.

Any ideas & suggestions on what I can easily change to help my Google ranking?
a current search on google.com.au for the term computer repairs is so far down the list I gave up looking! searching for computer repairs adelaide puts me around the 7th - 8th page!!

Any help appreciated..

Ernie

Welcome Ernie thumbup1.gif

If you are beginner in SEO then you must know SEO is not predefine any technique to achevies any rank or traffics in IMHO it is science and arts techniques and it will come after only experiences and gain knowledge from different sources. So try to find out what is the technique is currently apply.

Thanks and all the best .

Software? Software is rarely much, if any, use.

Try reading our Tips for Newbies, and feel free to ask questions as you go.

You're on page 1 of yahoo for "computer repairs adelaide"--probably because your SEO has done a good job with the "on page" optimisation.

You're probably suffering the "Google aging delay". Lots of threads here about that!

Hi

So I could be in the 'sandbox' or in some kind of 'ageing delay'...is there anyway I can find out for certain this is the case??

BTW the yourittech.com.au & the net.au domain were registered on; 29/6/06
The website/domain 1st went online on; 04/08/06

Neither the date the domain was purchased nor the date it first went Live is going to have any effect if it's an aging delay issue.

The date that matters is when the first link was placed pointing to the site from another site, or more specifically the first date Google noticed this link.

But my Main Question was:
So I could be in the 'sandbox' or in some kind of 'ageing delay'...

Is there anyway I can find out for certain this is the case??
How can I find out if my site is sandboxed or is in a ageing delay????

The usual way is to do everything you can possibly do to correctly optimise your website, do your keyword research, get loads of good quality links, write loads of good quality content, maximise all the web elements that contribute towards SEO - don't do anything dodgy and just when you think you are about to tear your hair out because despite everything you do you still don't rank well - your website is suddenly released and starts to rank well - it's normally then that you know you were being affected by the ageing process.

Yes. Your site is less than 9 months old. So yes.
