Posted 10 November 2006 - 08:47 AM
I am a basic web designer and new to SEO. I practice SEO with one of my clients site (ofcourse for free). After see results in MSN and Yahoo! i forget about it. Now that site has PR3 and it is more than one year old. Site and its pages are indexed by google. And it show for domain name. But nowhere in the search result for the keyword i am targeting. It is in 1st page of both MSN and Yahoo!.
Is this a sandbox / aging delay issue?

Given the time that has passed I wouldn't assume an aging delay. Could be, but...
Have you read the Tips for Newbies?
Do you have any links from other sites pointing at this site? If so, when did those first become active? When Google noticed the first link is when the aging delay clock would have started ticking. So if the site was up with no links pointing to it for awhile it could have extended the aging delay.

Seriously, you'll want to place links on sites where the type of visitors you're looking for hang out. Not only will these help with the aging delay and rankings in general, but they'll also bring you real traffic that has already been pre-qualified.
