Hacked together a new free tool that combines the keyword suggestion tool from Wordtracker and Overture...

How are you getting WordTracker's data, and is that legal?

It's only showing 15 results from Wordtracker, so presumably it's the "free trial version" data. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see WT give permission for this. Did they, Shawn?

Sure is a nice illustration of how skewed Overture's data is. ;)

Presumably, they were asked. Hope so!

Yes, it's just the free trial version data, and yes... we asked for their permission before we made it public.

I've checked it out and I like to see the comparisons. It's pretty well known that the Overture tool can be inflated due to people searching their own rankings. My "first impression" conclusion is that the closer Wordtracker and Overture results are with each other, there are less people checking their own rankings.

That's just my "first impression" and it's just the Wordtracker trial version. Anyone have any input?
