An Old Domain Name Go In The Sandbox

HI guys, it's been a while that I did not come in the forum. I bought a domain name of 3 years old. I build a site. I will get it in to google. If the domain is not a new one, will it still go in the sandbox? or is it considered as new if it is not in google
