ISLINGTON

I cant imagine anyone wanting to go to ISLINGTON

You might as well have it in Central Park NY at night or maybe in the Broncs or even Iraq.

Well, all I can say is dont forget the mace and maybe it would be a good idea if you all had motorbike crash helmets on when you leave the building.

It's not as bad as you paint it... I can get out of my brain drunk and still get safely home in Islington, and there are some good pubs and legend clubs there! Leave Islington alone! London as a whole is only as dangerous as you let it be to you, like any city anywhere in the world. Advice is that wherever you are, take the same precautions you would in the city you live in/ nearest to you.

I felt just as safe walking around Downtown Boston looking like a potential mugging victim in broad daylight as I did in Islington at night. Oh, and I only say Downtown Boston, because my auntie turned white when I told her where I had spent the day. Looked nice to me. I found a lovely Greek restaurant too!

So fess up! What part of the city were you in?

Oh, and by the way, it's the Bronx. It's named after some Dutch family. And I've been told that the South Bronx is the latest part of the city to start being gentrified (which may be worse than being a slum).

I dunno! I was going to some shopping centre place at the end of the tramline and I decided to walk along some places, passed a few antique shops (some were huge), walked around a way behind them, passed a few kids playing basketball, a strip bar and was walking for a few hours. I think I thought I was near the Mystic and was going to follow the river home to Medford. KJ was quite cosseted by her job so it was probably no biggie, but she thought it was at the time!

I'm not going to SES but I will be in Mayfair with some clients on the 15th, so who is up for a few post conference beers?
