oh man here's a refreshing thread. - chipotle is nice. baja fresh is nice as well. Of course here in Texas you can't beat burritos out of a trailer in some random parking lot.

You should have come tonight. I roasted a turkey and made fresh cranberry sauce.

But you know, anybody can make a burrito. If you're ever in Boston's Downtown Crossing area and you want to try something amazing, get thee to Chacarero, and ask for extra hot sauce  tongue.gif

Freebird's World Burrito puts Chipotle to shame. Unfortunately for most of you, they are not as big a chain. Fortunately for me, there is a location close by where I live.

there's always the hole-in-the-wall Mexican places that serve authentic burritos, they seem to be better tasting then chains.

Only if you live in the Southwest. I went to college with a guy from San Diego (named after an accident involving an attempt to eat breakfast on the beach) and he'd always mock any local joint that claimed to offer "Mexican" food. Of course, that was some 25 years ago. Things are much better now. Especially if you prefer Chilean tongue.gif

Darn, ya'll are making a girl hungry! I love any kind of mexican food, though on my mission to be a size 4 again (hey, I'm 72 pounds down!!!) I rarely get to eat it. I can tear some burritos up. My personal fav is Baja Fresh. Yummy!

That makes my 2lbs off the 28lbs I should really send away seem piffling! That is really cool though - it takes so much determination and strong will to say no to cakes (hhhmmmm) and mexican food (hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm)

I think a size 4 is a UK 8 so I take my (ivory coloured) hat off to you (never was, never will be anything less than a 10!)

Jonathan sounds like quite the gourmet cook!

I went to Moe's yesterday. It was good....different from Chipotle, though I couldn't help but feel I was cheating on Chipotle.

I do like the funny menu, which is much bigger than Chipotles's. I'll have to try more from there.

We passed a Chipotle when driving in Dallas this week. Scottie noticed it from the car...made us want to stop in and try it out, but we were on our way elsewhere!
