If a site is doing well with keyword rankng in organic search, is it worthwhile to try PPC?

Thanks for your opinion.

Totally depends on your industry, the amount of competition, and the quality of your ads. Only way to know if its worthwhile for you is to give it a shot and measure your results. If it provides a positive return then stick with it... if not, do some tweaking to see if you can improve the campaign, and keep tweaking until you can conclude what is and what is not working.

In general, it is usually a great idea to have both an organic search marketing campaign combined with PPC... after all you may be doubling your exposure making it twice as likely someone will click through to your site as opposed to someone elses.

Some tips, start small creating PPC ads for your most popular products first and be sure to to measure ads and keyword performance individually.

Sounds like the logical thing to do. The owner's brought it up more than once. I said no before but now I'm kinda leaning that direction.

I'm light on experience here. I see a lot of you guys here at the forum are well-versed in internet marketing, much more than me, so I value your opinions.
