My guess as to why you're not seeing it much is that you're not optimizing for competitive phrases, or possibly you're geo-targeting. The effects are more prominent as the targeted phrases get more competitive.

The 0.00001% doubt is only because I don't have it from the horses mouth (google).
Our site was ranking well and getting reasonable traffic, we moved it to a new domain and it's all but dried up. I haven't changed anything that would negatively affect the site and after a load of experimenting and research the sanbox is the only logical conclusion I can arrive at.

I've done a few things with the setup since realising my mistake but it seems like I'm just shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, as google has already indexed the new domain and largely dropped the old urls.
I'm ever optimistic though, so I shall continue my efforts to fix things - I guess I'll either sort it out or get old enough trying

I really think we've missed that boat, but we're about 6 months into the delay now so I hope it wont be too much longer anyway

You just have no patience. Change it back to 302 and this time LEAVE it.

Really? Cool, I'll get it changed back ASAP
I can't argue with that! (Well, I could, but there isn't time )

Any ideas how long it might be before I could expect to see some change?
Sorry to drag this thread off topic

In a perfect world, I would give it at least 4-6 weeks.
