I read the guidelines and yet I am not sure if it is OK to post a client's site for web site review. This is a tough (for me at least) SEO case and I would appreciate any feedback and assistance.

Thanks in advance,
Mitko @ WebSage

I don't make the rules here, but I can't see anything wrong with it. We want to avoid people joining just to have their site reviewed, and that's why a member has to post 15 messages before they can request a review. But you're obviously an active member, so that's not an issue.

I don't know how your client would feel about it, though. Then again, I posted a question about a client's site recently (not a review request, though), pointed the thread out to the client, and now they've joined in on the discussion themselves.

Sure Mitko!

As long as the client doesn't mind. I think most of our review are for client sites, actually.

Yes, you might want to make sure the client doesn't mind. Other than that, have at it! ;)

It's not a bad idea to have something about this in your contract. If issues come up with your client, you'll have something in writing.

This past summer, I accepted a 3 month in-house job. In their contract, I was not allowed to share any information in any place that could be viewed by any competitor, or potential competitor. For that reason, I never mentioned the company while posting.

Yes, I have some clients where I had to sign things like that too.
