I set up a web site for AdSense a few days ago. The ads have been displayed properly. I noticed that there had been a few clicks, but NO earnings. I thought as long as people clicked on the ads, I would earn money. Am I missing something? The ad type is Text & Image Ad.

Maybe this is something that Google can help you with (I know nothing on Adsense, but I know they are quite helpful when you ask them Q's). You're able to contact them through your account.

If you have Public Service Ads, you won't be paid for the clicks.

The following link from Adsense Help Center should explain.

Here is one possibility...
Do you have LINK UNITS?
Link units require 2 clicks... one to access the ads and another when someone actually clicks on the ads...
each click gets counted... so If someone clicks on your link unit and then hits the back button... you have 1 click and no money.
