The Toronto show must be approaching fast. Google just sent out emails to announce their party on the Tuesday night of the show 6-9 p.m. (restaurant near the hotel I presume).

Since Jill offered my services as a drinkin' buddy on this thread some time ago, I've been hemming and hawing given my much-publicized run-in with Brad Pitt and several members of the constabulary at the New York show. But I'm out on parole and ready to roll.

So me and a few of my closest friends will be looking for places to drink a few diet Cokes after that Google party. Come along if you know what's good for you. If you can't see me, just look for Page Zero's Research Director Mark Shawera. He's 6'6" and has David Lee Roth's old hair. (No I'm not kidding.)

See you at SES Toronto!

;) ;)

Woo hoo! I am in! Got my pass!

If anyone else is looking to book accomodations, you can get a room for $130 at www.choicehotels.com - there is a Quality Inn not too far from the conference. Stumbling distance I believe; -)

Anybody know anything about the Pearson airport in Toronto? I need a meeting place on terminal three. Is there one central baggage claim area per terminal or some other location that would serve as a "meet me there" place?

Goodman - is that Google party invite only? (wonder how they feel about crashers?)

Copywriter- Been a couple of years since I've been in there (whine - I never get to go anywhere far enough away to warrant getting on a plane) but I believe that on the arrivals level there are no more than 4 or 5 baggage carousels and they are all located together - one after the other. The arrival level is not really that big. If you're meeting someone, I'd suggest meeting by the carousel closest to the exit doors - you definitely won't miss each other.

I am looking forward to meeting (and hearing the voices of) people I've met in these and other forums.

See you in T.O.!

No, Brad said he couldn't come so I've asked Tom Cruise to meet us instead... since he's available now and all after the split with Penelope.

Great... thanks. We had someone else make a suggestion, too so we should have it all figured out.

See you there!

I'm guessing anyone with an SES show pass should have received an invite to the Google party. Unless it's "anyone who spends a gazillion dollars on AdWords" or something.

Since not too many SES attendees pass up a Google party, I'm guessing the joint will be packed.

I was amazed at the turnout at the Yahoo & Overture receptions in New York. Toronto should be at least 10X that. After all, the door prize is 10% of Sergey's shares! :)
