How much does an event like that cost (in Toronto)?
Are the presentations really informative or does the benifit really come from meeting others in the field? I'm guessing its the later and hence if you don't really know anyone then its not worthwhile unless your 'search' out some gurus? hehe

It depends on your knowledge level, IMO. The organic listings forum was interesting to me- the guys answered questions based on their opinions of what's going on in SEO today. Overall, I picked up some new info.
For example, I'm not into PPC but sitting in on a few of the paid listings sessions helps me to understand it better.
The networking is a huge plus- both with other professionals and prospective clients.

I was born there, and went back to live there for about a year after my undergrad, but it's been awhile since I've been back. Should be fun.

And I'd say both the sessions and the networking is great. The sessions aren't full of sales pitches, but real good info (for the most part).

I can't believe that I couldn't remember where the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is. Had to look it up. It's right downtown, next to the CN Tower If you're afraid of heights, don't look down when standing on the glass floor.
I spoke with Frank Fazio Jr.,at JupiterMedia.com,about sponsoring the pens and/or note pads,as I'll be launching a couple of sites around that time.
Lets see, first I have to buy a couple of thousand dollars worth of pens and/or pads. Then I have to pay them $2000.00 for the privelege of giving them away.
I also asked him what Jill is like in person, and he said ... um,cat wants out. I'll tell you later.

Is the cat out yet?
Toronto and London would be great fun. I'm keeping an open schedule for those time slots - if the trips work out I'll see you all there.
