Hi all,
Before launching my press release I got some doubts.
  • How frequently we can launch the press releases?
  • Is there any particular time to launch the press releases (end of the week, or start of the week)
  • Please tell me the best timings for launching the press releases
Thanks...

You should launch your press release once, when you have news worth releasing about your business.

Right. Beyond that, the day of the week you release something doesn't seem to have a lot of effect on whether it gets picked up or not. I tend to avoid Firday aftrnoon thru Monday morning, simply becuase most of the press takes weekends off so I'm sure their mailbox gets overloaded from Friday afternoon through Monday. But I can't point to any research saying to issuing a release during these times is a good or bad thing.

One thing I would very much encourage...

Do a bit of research regarding the newspapers and other publications that are in your local area. Not necessarily just your home town paper if you're in a smallish city, but the immediately surrounding region as well.

I've had some really good successes in sending my releases directly to those folks, after I've verified they might be interested. Not only in getting the release out there in their publication either. Many times they're looking for stories with a local angle. So it's not at all unusual in my experience to get a call from someone at the paper/mag who will want to do a story on you and your business. Those are pure gold AFAIC.

If you go with a free press submission then you really need to plan for a 5 to 10 day delay before the SE index it. Even if you do a minimum payment (like on PRWeb $10) if you submit on a Monday it may not show up in SERPs till Saturday. That has been my experience.
The RSS feeds and the working press will get it quickly, but not the SE. There are options to get it fed directly to the SE on a priority basis so it shows up in 24 to 48 hours but that just means more $$.
I cannot emphasis more that it really MUST be interesting for the users AND the newspaper person. Not a puff piece.
PRWeb has some good writing guidelines.
