Hi Rajesh. Hope you don't take this the wrong way. From the perspective of a potential customer, perhaps one of the reasons why your site isn't converting well is because of it's design itself?

As company that specializes in custom website design, I honestly expected more of your site's design that what I saw. I strongly believe that this factor alone can dramatically improve your conversions.

When I am looking for a web design company, the very first thing I look at isn't their web copy or anything else but the design of their own site.

PS: I think you meant to say queries instead of quarries. Enquiries would be more appropriate though. Lol. I do provide free English lessons. Just kidding buddy.

The Careers link doesn't work for me on the homepage (using FF), it throws a JavaScript error.

For target keyphrases like that you can do all the on page optimization you want and see no results. Those are highly competitive and would require months, if not years, of link building. You probably need professional assistance with this.

I don't think the design is so bad, I kinda like it.

I don't know what that is supposed to mean. mad.gif

Actually his site is better than mine.

And, for the record, the arteworks site is being relaunched in pure CSS with a cool flash element. I'd show you the prototype...but naah. You'll have to wait until the end of August like the rest of the world.

Actually that pisses me off. Go win some design awards then talk to me.

Nice blog template site daywalker...with zero inbound links or pagerank, btw.

The site is clean yet it needs more "punching power" to wow visitors. Yes I agree that as a web design company, it's expected that your pages would display more aesthetically appealing elements. Try to balance it with text content.

Your contact us page looks cluttered. You'd prefer to let visitors figure out what e-mail to use instead of having one single form and designate sections for visitors to choose (enquiry, partnership, web bugs, etc) and you sort whose gonna respond to the form entry yourselves.

Hey Rajesh - don't worry about the look of your site for seo purposes. It is meaningless. Sites rank very well without eye popping design elements, and make plenty of money. Take the highrankings site, for example - a simple layout, nothing special, plenty of visibility, traffic, and presumably sales.

I would focus your efforts on seo, as you suggested, and not really worry about design aspects of things. You can always clean that up later. It's visibility you need.

The design of your web site is very linear and masculine which would appeal to some of your potential clients. Your portfolio reflects your design abilities, which are good, in my opinion. Add some impressive and interesting design work on your own web site would help show your visitors what you are capable of producing.

I also saw that there was a lot of contact information on the contact page but most of it is on the bottom half of the web page, so I don't think that is causing a problem.

What I don't' see is a "call to action" link in appropriate places on your web site, with wording such as "Contact Us Now for a Free Quote," or wording along that line. Calls to action do help bring in inquiries, whether they are buttons or text.

Consider adding testimonials from your clients throughout your web site. I ask each of my clients for testimonials and most of them are willing to be quoted.

You also are using a very competitive term, as was mention above by Matt. Have you done any Keyword Research to find less competitive keyword phrases that you can rank higher on until your business and web site grow?
