Jill - Certainly here in the Uk I find that the Yahoo Web results (excluding the Overture entries) are not the quite the same as the Google.co.uk results. They appear to be slightly filtered. I don't know if they are filtered or they are just pulling the results from a different datacentre.

I haven't tried looking at AOHell's search results though.

IMO, some of these software programmers seem to think that if they make their program so you can't get caught, then it's okay.  I guess that's something that everyone has to decide for themselves.  I liken it to speeding...

It's actually more like trespass. :)

the AOL results are sometimes different, but then again I understand that AOL has two different sets of search facilities on their site.

The basic (open to all) search is the one on the main page, but the members search facility gives slightly different results as it incorporates other sources of material.

Can't remember where i read that, I really should start a blog just to record my article reading :)
