I would be interested to find out how other SEO's experiences whose clients may have been negatively affected by update Florida. My company looks after a number of sites, mainly in the travel industry. We have always stuck to ethical principles, putting our efforts into building good content, spider friendly navigation, all the usual.
Some of our more on the ball clients quickly picked up on the changes and have been asking questions, others have yet to do so. We decided to take the initiative and send out a newsletter to our clients explaining about the latest developments and reassuring them that all will be well in time.
I would be interested to know what other SEO's have done to keep their clients happy (or at least at bay), what has been your clients reaction, how have other webmasters kept their customers happy?

happiness is a well informed client. if you tell them the truth then everything will be ok. educate them as best you can and show them how your good practices will be rewarded in time.
my clients have thus far been ok, but check out search engine watch for deeper client analysis
