Its often quite frustrating for us UK bods trying to find keyword listings as many of the tools are U.S. based ... including Overture.
While checking out the popularity of a keyword however, I noticed a handy little attribute in the URL - the mkt attribute. If you change this from us to uk bob is your mother's british brother.

To see what I mean compare the result of these two URLs:

US: http://inventory.ove...t=us&lang=en_US
UK: http://inventory.ove...t=uk&lang=en_US

:)

Chris:

I hereby award you 50,000 "SEO Mojo Points" for that post...

Adwords lets you compare the ad exposure in different markets, but they don't show you all those funny words that people use in England like "let" instead of "rent."

That's very cool. Try a search for:

car hire

That's much more of a UK term than US. Very interesting.

Hmmm, anyone notice anything else beyond the different terms. The terms in the UK don't look like they are skewed as badly with automated queries. T leaves to go adjust his overture keywords tool.:)

Thanks Chris, you da' man!

Don't forget about the similar tool at ESpotting as well.

Softnik's good keywords tool utilises the above mentioned Overture US and UK keyphrase finder but when you copy the results to the clipboard it does so in CSV format making it easier for importing into a spreadsheet.
