We all need to go visit our favorite blogs (and our own) or on our site
and make a post about black hat seo and give his site as an
example of what RIP-OFF  and CONS are going  around,
using all of HIS keywords...  in our posts...

This would bring attention to him...

Okay, I am NEW at bloggin. So far it's just been personal stuff - ya know, grapes, kittens and scammers!

So if you dare, you can visit my Scammers blog to see more about this.

Beware =) you will also have to see my kittens as newborns (look like mice) and my relentless bloggin on American Idol, which airs shortly.

I am disgusted with these Scamer guys....the more I hear and see the madder I get.

Come on by.

I think the word has spread like wildfire about the malpractice. Their (they know who they are) comrades are now on a secret meeting to plan another "marketing plan" since "plan A" also known as "intimidate prospect plan" has been busted.

It gave me an idea of a blog entry too. I have always loved to read those enumerated lists...

Jehochman I fully agree with you. This is appalling. Some of our clients sometimes get an od SEO phone pitch like that with a lot of B****t similar to that but this takes the cake!

It's a real shame since the public at large can be scared with such ugly tactics.

That 'Dennis' and his 'company' (if it IS a company that is) ought to be reported to the FTC.

Yeah, FTC or Better Busines Bureau. In my area there is Consumer Council arm of the government doing a similar job.

These few unscrupulous ones are making a bad name in an industry susceptible to deception and lies.

The so called "rotten tomatoes" must be thrown out of the basket so that the fresh ones won't get contaminated.

The answer lies within.. We are journalists. Journalism is ALWAYS the answer...!

Sure we are all blogging about it, but, maybe we need to bring in some "big guns."
I wonder if we could get one of the bigger news syndicates involved?

Does anyone have any connections? If not maybe we could head over to
CreativeCow.net. They have a web forum as well. I used to frequent their forums a lot
when I was doing more video production and there are some people in the know there;
some real heavy weights that work in eng, and other production oriented business.

Before I do that I thought I'd check and see if anyone here has any connections...

I just saw this thread, and WOW.

I googled the terms and G returned 3 different sites to me. Either they plagiarized the other 2, or they own all the sites (the third one is in Lithuanian language).

On their "main" site, under their GOAL, did you guys notice the way they spammed "request for a price quote"? All the "keywords" pointed to one page. Looks like theywould get banned first before the sites of the clients they are trying to scam! hahaha..

I'm sure when Google receives A LOT of spam report from this company, they would immediately be banned.

I'd blog about this site too (though I'm sure my audience is not even a hundredth of the audience you guys have) so that in my own little way, I could help make people aware to avoid themselves from being scammed.

Since company names and websites can change, I think the best way of protecting ourselves and others is to be aware of these dirty tactics that these people resort to.

Looking at this "scammer"'s site... I would like to point out is that all of his flash presentations hide the navigational linking in the site (*viewing in firefox). How the heck can anyone want to hire a company that can't even display essential site navigation correctly!

Then lets not even go into the whole flash displays of ranking #2 on google for "Advertise on Google" .... please. Lets use some common sense here, people who want to advertise on google, go to Google and click on that link that says "Advertising Programs"... not search for it!

I'm sooooooooooooo tempted to work on a page to drop this ranking ... smile.gif

BTW... great blog write up dave!

I just registered with this board because one of my clients just got a phone call from this clown as well. Last week, this guy called up claiming he had "inside" information on Googles spam list, and whaddya know! My clients site was on that list!

This sad little freak was attempting to extort around $400 a month for a 15 page site. I haven't even finished all of the SEO work for this site, but somehow Dennis had a crystal ball on hand and knew why the site wasn't ranking in the SE's. He accused me of performing black hat techniques by trying to keyword stuff in comments. Well if a$$hat would loook at the code, he would see that I don't use comments. Next was his amazing ability to predict how many links the site had. I haven't begun the link exchange campaign. The final piece that made me laugh the hardest was his assertion that he could get the site in the #1 spot for multiple search engines within 24 hours. Well it looks like he also owns the SE bots.

One of my common practices is to send my clients a weekly report on whats going on, in detail. So all my client had to do was cross reference my report and picked up on the BS right off the bat.

I also sent in a Google spam report. If anyone wants to do the same, heres the link for that
www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

Firing up the blog in a few minutes. What keywords should I use in my link text to his site?
