Do I have too many reciprocal links? I have quite a few on that site, but they're all utterly relevant. I can say with complete confidence that every one of them is there for the user and not the spider. G can't be punishing me for that. Not good, kind, wise and just G.
As anyone who has followed the crooked trial I have left behind myself in this forum will know I have always though all this moral ridden angst and naysaying about Google was ridiculous.
Wouldn't it be ironic justice if the new algo, either in the short term or the long term, made all the "Good Guys" into "Bad Guys". All the "ethical" practitioners into "unethical" practitioners.
Now Qwerty you are furthering this anthropomorphizing and exoneration of Google, by asking like a chasten child, "... can't be punishing me for that".
Google isn't good, bad, moral or immoral. Nor does it set the standards for these human characteristic. If one listens to the rhetoric on this forum one would get the idea that Moses came down from the mountain with the ten commandments and Google's TOS -- or as Alan corrected me, Google's Webmaster Guidelines . We know the ten commandments were smashed but apparently the Google stuff survived intact.
How else can one explain the obeisance that we find here. And now our world is turned on its head. God himself -- Freudian slip, I meant Google -- appears to have changed it own "law" and is punishing its supplicants.
