I think we're all born with creativity. Some just get it beat out of them more so than others.

Definitely, you'll become a more well-rounded and happier person exploring more of your own potential.

That's a great point. It doesn't matter who it is or what they do. You seldom see people any happier when they are doing something that they consider creative - whether it's creatively running a business, or creatively playing a guitar, or creativingly organizing an event, or...well...you get the idea.

I think it has a lot to do with that motivation we talked about earlier. But maybe it's more than motivation. Maybe it's passion.

Creativity? Depends what type you are looking for. I would think most around here are looking for creative selling or promotion, as opposed to creative expression in art forms.

The best advise I was ever given is imitate success. Let the big guys spend the money to find out what works, then implement the same type of program for yourself. Yes, you have to be motivated and be able to think outside the box, but that's all part of the package. If you can't do that to start, you should be following somebody else's instructions.

I am in a 'tight knit' industry. People told me that 'everybody' knows the basics, and nobody will purchase our eBook information. We're not getting rich, but we are selling (the site is only a year old, so give us a chance).

Also, look at other industries. Some of the best promotion we ever did was when we borrowed ideas from other industries. It may be old hat there, but it's new to your market.

If you are really interested, stay up and watch infomercials. Not for what they are selling, but HOW they are doing it. Not saying you have to follow them to the 'T', but there is a lot of good ideas.
