Losing Links Overnight

But why am i losing links? Do anyone have an idea? My guess is msn is registering back links from adwords, can it be the case.
I need your expert advice, many thanks

Check rankings and ROI. Forget link numbers.

There are a lot of possible explanations. I wouldn't immediately jump to an Adwords ads cause though.
You mentioned articles and press releases. Perhaps those links no longer appear on the same page they did yesterday or two days ago? It's not unusual for either or both to end up being on a prominent page to begin with, then get moved into an archive section fairly quickly.
Don't get hung up on the exact numbers. Heck, I couldn't even give you a ballpark guess as to the number of links reported to be pointing at any of my sites. It's simply not important enough for me to remember.
But if you asked me how much real $$$'s my sites made me yesterday, or the day before, or last week or last month... Now those are on the tip of my brain, because they're what count.
