No Cache From Tool Bar But There From Serps
Posted 05 December 2005 - 05:16 PM
Also if I search google with my domain name, it no longer show's up. At first you'd think I was banned. But, All my page rank's are still in tact. And my page shows up in the serps when searhing for something specific like the keywords in my title.
In addition, the cache is there when accessing from the google serp page. Am I on my way to being banned, or is this some weird google hickup? It's driving me nuts. How do I fix it?

I guess the site is around 6 months old (Google time) and it's in the mid stages of the aging delay

If it's an existing domain that has been indexed previously it could be many things. A server glitch, a Google datacentre glitch, the Google index reverting to an earlier version etc etc.
I noticed earlier in the week my site had a lot of PIPs and some pages appeared that have been deleted some 12 months ago. Probably there has been a synch error somewhere and a DC has reverted to old data.
This kind of thing happens quite a bit and is usually fixed in 2 - 3 weeks.

I assumed. What I meant was how did you get the google age of my site to be 6 months.

Most Google cache URLs contains an IP address such as 220.127.116.11, e.g. "http://18.104.22.168...w.google.com/". If you don't see the cached page, try replacing the IP address with "www.google.com", e.g. "http://www.google.co...w.google.com/". That way you'll probably hit another data center and, in my experience, it's usually a data center that has the cached page.

Sounds like you're all set then as I doubt people are looking for your page the other way you stated.

Ya, I just wasn't sure if there was something up. I'm in in the middle of a link exchange campaign and I didn't want any potential partners looking at my cache and getting the wrong idea.
