Hi,

I知 planning to build a Link or Resources page. My question is, while I知 still working on searching for link exchange partners, is it alright to place a temporary website links on my resources page without asking permission to the website owner first?

For example, my category would be accounting resources, I知 planning to place related accounting resources on my page like Quick Books Accounting Software, Price Waterhouse Coopers Accounting firm etc. without sending notice to the website owners. Is this approach alright?

And also, do you have other recommendations or relevant suggestion on building an advisable LINKS PAGE?

Thanks in advance and best luck to all!

Cheers!

Hi River,

Why do you need to ask someones permission to link to their site?

If you think these sites are useful to your websites users then go ahead and link to them.

You never have to ask permission to link to anyone's site. If you like it, link to it.

Usually you'd ask web site owners to have a provide a link to your site. But provideing a link to their side should be at your own discretion.

Umm ewc21, your post isn't really making sense. What are you trying to say?
