A well known company is offerring top 10 rankings in 10 days.

How is it possible?. What about PageRank? I got this information from an offshore customer. They refuse to use my services bcause the former company is offering top ranking 10 in 10 days!... :P

This company is ranked among highrankings.com for keyword "search engine optimization"

Can someone tell me how to acheive top 10 in 10 days!!.... :)

If we did, we would have to kill you :P

A strong link from a site that is crawled often would do.

I have gone through hundreds of SEO sites online. But no one offers top 10 in 10 days.

But still how they can 'gurantee' top 10 in 10 days so cheaper. Cheaper than indian rupees!! :halo:

Well maybe this is why, I should say that it is not me offering this guarantee, I can just about guarantee to get back to you 'sometime soon' :)

However: we recently incorporated, so i thought it about time i built us a website, so Thursday of last week i sat down and threw it together, nice plain html, on Friday i thought 'lets have a look at it then' I spent about an hour looking and tweaking phrases etc, then i put it up online at about 7pm Friday evening.

At the same time i altered the 'designed and hosted by' links from 4 of the websites i run that i know get spidered all the time, Sunday afternoon at 4pm i logged on did quick check of the server logs for the new site, and google bot/bot1 has visited,, and the new site has been spidered and added to google index (although i have a PR of 0) but the site is now 4th for my chosen key phrase.

I have just checked the site stats and googlebot 2.1 has visited 23 times since Friday.

Any website can be listed in Google within a week. If the targetted keyword is or less competitive then a top 10 can be guarenteed in 10 days. I agree with that.

But i am wodering how a company can guarentee top 10 for a competitive keyword in 10 days. Not only in Google but also in other search engines!

Does it say 'keyword of your choice' ? this could be done with a combination of PFI & adwords etc, on things like 'maldovian yak cheese making' apart from paying there is IMO 100% no way anyone can guarantee this, however ANYONE can give a 100% guarantee of refund if they do not achieve it.

Also many companies have in the small print things ike ' our guarantee is that we will achieve a top 10 ranking in at least one of the search engines listed within 10 days, they then know they can buy themselves to the top of a particular search engine, Hell i can guarantee top placing on a search engine in Wales as we own one and can simply hit a button that says top place for any keyword in list, and as we decide what keywords websites are listed by it would not be hard to do now would it.

But no one would notice a little local search engine hidden amongst the big boys, and i would have achieved what i agreed to in contract, but not fairly.

If as you say this is a well respected poster then i would be fairly certain that there are no underhand tactics, maybe a bit of semantics with regard where and when, but no underhandedness.

It has to include an element of PFI as part of the package IMO

If it swims like a fish, smells like a fish, and looks like a fish, it is probably chicken.

:)

About a year ago I tried a service which had a gold package. They put expires on meta tags in my site, basically only used comments and meta tags to spam search engines for low query words.

The best part was that they were still so incompitent that they missed their own deadline. After they finally "optimized me", I got a full refund since they took too long and provide a crappy service that would give me about 200 hits/year.

Yep, still sounds like they're buying Overture and AdWords.

A well known company is offerring top 10 rankings in 10 days.

How is it possible?

Possibilities (all known scams):

1) It isn't possible but you won't find out until you have paid money
2) Your site is already in the top 10 but you haven't noticed
3) A spammer already has a top placement for the keyphrase on one of their URLs and will sell a redirect from that URL to your URL (very 1990s)
4) A combination of the above with Paid Inclusion and Freshbot URLs owned by the spammers

Can someone tell me how to acheive top 10 in 10 days!!....

Certainly! Just produce a top ten for a unique company name or a long unique phrase that no one searches for! :D

Seriously, anyone can make a generic guarantee like that. What does the fine print say though? What keywords or phrases do they guarantee for? Top ten - are they referring to editorial results or sponsored results? What happens if they don't fulfill guarantee?

The bottom line is to be weary of any guarantee a SEO or SEM makes because none of us control search results. Heck, even paid results are not fully controlled because someone can always out bid you or write a better producing ad (Google).

Another thing to consider is if the company offering the guarantee provides top ten in ten days, how long does that last? A day, a week, an hour? :)

Yes no one can control the search results. They are not talking about any Paid Services.

This company is having 2 websites for Search Engine Optimization Services. Both of them have good professioanal design. They have'nt used any spamming 'tricks' in their website. This is a typical Seo site like mine and yours. :)
